Why animals?
Wild Guide Readings were born from my own experiences with wild animals.
What began as connecting with animals in captivity eventually evolved into something unexpected: the animals themselves began teaching me. Again and again, I found myself surprised by the wisdom, perspective, and encouragement different animals offered. Their messages arrived at exactly the right moments, often helping me understand something in a way I hadn't been able to see on my own.
Over time, this led me to a simple realization: animals have so much to teach us if we are willing to listen.
Many of us learn life's lessons through our family of origin, chosen family, mentors, and community. In my experience, animals can be teachers, too. When I was moving through experiences that the people around me didn't fully understand, animals had a way of seeing and supporting me that felt deeply validating. They offered perspectives I couldn't find anywhere else.
They also reminded me that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. The natural world is not separate from us—we belong to it. My hope is that more people come to recognize just how connected we are to the wild world around us, and how much wisdom can be found when we remember our place within it.
